Founded in 1979 by Pietro and Giovanna Ligorio, Pasta Ligorio was born from the ambition to combine a passion for Puglian cuisine and a love of creating high-quality pasta. With Pietro’s experience as a chef and inspiration from the authentic flavours of local cuisine, our pasta factory, named “Al Mattarello,” has become a symbol of quality and craftsmanship.
From the beginning, we had a clear vision: to produce fresh and dry pasta of excellent quality, selecting only the best raw materials. This commitment continues with the wise use of artisanal techniques enriched by advanced technologies, ensuring that each product maintains the essence of true Puglian flavours.
...to date
The legacy is stronger than ever! The second generation of Pasta Ligorio, with Vito and Lucio, continues to carry on this legacy with an unwavering commitment to excellence. Every batch of pasta we produce is a tribute to the gastronomic richness of Puglia, designed to convey, in every taste, the history and passion that define our brand.

Sustainable gastronomy
“Sustainable Gastronomy” is an integral part of our corporate philosophy. The importance of making conscious choices about the ingredients we use and the world in which we produce our pasta is one of the values that distinguish our company.
Much of our production is done with electricity from our photovoltaic panels, significantly reducing our environmental impact. Our delicious pasta is made even better by this sustainable choice.
